About me

Hello again! I'm Isaac Tan, currently a student studying in Singapore Polytechnic taking the Diploma in Infocomm Security Management (DISM), 1st Year. Previously I was from ITE East taking Nitec in Network and Systems Administration with a GPA of 4.0. Techically it was 4.2 due to CCA points but... yea.

My future goals are quite unsure at the moment... I wanted to be a doctor when I was young, then a soldier, then a game programmer, now a penetration tester... I guess my goals right now is to at least get a GPA 3 to 3.5 and above, other than that I actually hope I can open up more and expand my network and learn Dancing or Singing or both, they seem really fun! Quite unlikely for me to do it though. Ha. *turns away*

So, more about myself! I like to slack/daydream/zone-off when I am bored. Espcially when with birds or dogs! I am a very lazy person, I can't even bring myself to study for tests even it's just a day away. Quite problematic, I know. Apart from that I enjoy playing video games such as:

  • PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds (PUBG)
  • Counter-Strike:Global Offensive (CS:GO)
  • Company of Heroes 2
  • Nier:Automata
  • Black Desert Online
  • Rainbow Six Seige

As you can see, I am pretty much a shut-in gamer. Another part of my shut-in life is Anime! Especially Anime, my favourite is Love Live! School Idol Festival. To prevent additional cringe i'm going to stop the anime talk here.

Other things I enjoy is watching TED talks on youtube. They are really interesting as I get to listen in on other people's wisdom and insights. Some cases these videos motivate me to learn something new or help me to start "thinking" and expand my knowledge and perspective.

Soooooo... Even more info about myself... My favourite food are noodles! They are my favourite no joke noodles over rice all day everyday. Top 5 noodles dishes:

  1. Ramen
  2. Soba
  3. Char Kway Teow
  4. Tom Yam Seafood w/ Yi Mien
  5. Mee Goreng Pattaya

If you happen to be near City Hall MRT, there is a indian shop that sells Mee Goreng Pattaya that is just godly(to me) I highly recommend it! Although it is abit expensive at around 7 dollars. I do not have the exact name of the store but it is at the basement close to a navy tailor store and right beside a clothing store. It should be around two stores wide, quite big.
